From how I remembered it, it wasn't really specified how the time loops occured aside from the knowledge that Seonwoo made a wish (?) for Gajun to escape and survive the camp until the final time loop so it could become the new reality of the world. Well, I thought the time travelling was an extension of Seonwoo's abilities based on how he awakened obedience by seeing his parents die from the gate break over and over again. 12 being the specific number of the amount of potential he had. I mean, idk, it was kinda messy trying to understand the plot LMAO this is kind of like Dreadful Night. I'm so confused when shit started to happen and how lol. But the plot is too good, so I'm letting it go.
