The 3 main villains are the Emperor, empress and second prince. Camilla saw the emperor in person and realized that he had many souls following him in the last third of the story. All the ghosts that followed the emperor were young men of 20-30 years old and had their heads down, they also didnāt react when other ghosts spoke to them, so Camila quickly realized that the emperor was related to the cult of Eva. Havel then told her that all the emperors had been possessed by the same person/soul but that they couldn't do anything because they didn't know his name. However, at that point Camila had just returned from the Gracia empire, her biological father was in the Fabel empire which made things a little awkward, then Camila had to deal with the members of the church and accidentally became a āsaintā, so she didn't have time to even think about how to kill the emperor. Also, Camila has a hard time asking her family/friends for help, she usually tries to solve everything on her own with only the help of the ghosts, so she didn't tell anyone that the emperor was part of the cult until the end of the story when the three dukes helped her defeat the cult members infiltrated into the church who wanted to steal Camilla's body.
Camilla told the dukes that the emperor was the leader of the cult, which they already suspected and had been investigating since the attack on the hunting competition but had not been able to do anything concrete about it, but before they could plan an attack or something John Carter changed bodies, which led to the "death" of the emperor. The dukes and Camilla attended the emperor's funeral, accused the second prince and the empress of being members of the cult, and Camilla defeated John Carter, and thus the novel ended.

Oooohh, thanks for this! I was starting to feel lost with how the current storyline was going. A cult plot point is very fitting for a story with a ghost-seeing MC. love it! the story felt draggy to me, but now that I know

Just finished reading it, the minute I saw chef Kang I knew he was behind all the bullshit. Also, piling traumas for someone that has been through a lot all in the name of your stupid revenge is just stupid, the only victim was miu-i, chef Kang isn't a victim, he clearly knew who to torment and blame for his mother's disability, but he chose to target someone that was likely having a bad day too. I would have rooted for him if he did all those shit to his father, take the FL as an example, she cut off the baggage that were blocking her success, he could have easily done the same.
