late reply, but actually that's also what happened to me but when i saw the 'wife' thingy i just thought that what i saw on the cover was wrong and continued to read it anyway thinking it's yuri cuz it seemed interesting then got confused again cuz the ml suddenly turned to a guy so i went to check again the tags and didn't see anything yuri on it so i just became more confused
this had sooo much potential if it weren't for that ending honestly, there's so many questions that are left unanswered and also what happened to akira's best friend? and who was that hades guy? his face was never revealed even though he was also a student like the rest but nonetheless i enjoyed this. i wish it just had more chapters or at least another season. another that i would like to see is yarai's romance with that sensei. ik that they have an age gap but i just can't help myself to ship the two, they are so cute and i feel like yarai's the type to be clingy, look at him hugging her from behind and carrying her in the group panel! ╥﹏╥
