the plot is already iffy enough that I proceeded with caution, but I can't overlook how naive the FL is. She has no common sense or tact whatsoever. Sure, she loves her books and writing, but she's beyond acting carelessly just for the sake of her work. Asking inappropriate questions blatantly in public, going to hotels with strangers, calling someone her fuck buddy out loud with no remorse...it's too much.
I think it would have been more tolerable if she asked a childhood friend or something to help first, and then went to a stranger for help after said friend denied her. But it is what it is. I'll continue to read go see how it ends, but her character ruins it for me.
Am I the only one who's feeling a bit of whiplash every chapter/every time she sleeps with one guy to the next? There's barely any time in between when she sleeps with someone. It's cool seeing a fl whos super sexual and gets it in every chapter. But the lack of good transitioning is a huge letdown, even if I'm only reading it for the smut. It doesn't help that she assaults them, too. Like girl, you know they all want you, no need to assault them!
...still staying for the smut and story out of curiosity though. sigh
