i feel like this whole arc was jus overdone like i love a good chasing arc but what uigun did in my opinion wasn’t even THAT horrible for him to be getting treated like this…if i told someone to read ts without reading any of the book they would think he killed someone like bro he lied ofc which was terrible but that lie was ages ago and he obviously cares about dajun now and if anything dajun should’ve been a lot more mad at the whole assuming he was a ho and confusing him for his twin thing but that was already resolved…idk. and yes he shoudlve jus come clean earlier but like this whole thing jus frustrated me bc all it rlly woudlve taken is a “yes i lied in the past but it had to do with me confusing you for your twin im sorry i was dishonest and i dont want to use you at all i care abt u now” blah blah like jus explain urself…instead uigun jus spent idek how long atp crying and babbling “pls im sorry” “don’t leave me” JUS EXPALIN? and the “can we have sex one more time” thing was actually ridiculous idk what made him think it was ok to say that…literally contradicting his own self at that point bc u should be trying to prove that u actually care abt him…honestly horrible ☠the lie not even being that serious anymore bc it was ages ago plus uigun like not actually explaining any confusion or debunking dajuns assumptions…jus felt like a long drawn out way to create a long ahh chasing arc out of something that didn’t need it. long ass rant but like this arc frustrated tf outta me i love this book and the chars tho but god what has been going on </3

it is slightly irritating that all he’s doing is using sex to fix his problems but the author hasn’t failed us with writing before so i just think this is just part of showing how rough the road to recovery from things can be, and yes coping mechanisms can be really unhealthy sometimes, but i’m sure they’ll come around and get him some real help soon and he’ll have a chance to actually talk about how he’s feeling rather than avoiding it, i think that’s what the author is going for.
