This is such a beautiful and heartbreaking story. This is some of the most traumatising and agonising stuff I have ever read. This story deals with so many uncomfortable topics--abuse, prostitution, power imbalance, codependency and obsession. It's beautifully written and handles everything respectfully and realistically. This is one of those stories you only read once but never forget.
