He thinks that lippe and her family knows about it and is keeping it a secret so he kills them off one by one. But lippe obvi changes it, she has magical powers and fights them blah blah, she becomes a singer and has the white haired boy as her pianist, they travel to places and ye I’m not sure if they have children forgot abt that.

yeah basically the rustichel family has long inherited a magic cup. to draw it out, the emperor does shit to mess up their emotional stability. the reason why lippe went back in time is because of the emperor. he believes doing all that to lippe could get the cup considering all the trauma she experienced.
the true heir to the throne is actually asterias. the emperor is like his uncle (?) who killed his dad which is why he ascended the throne.

And Miss Poor-princess, being magically enslaved by her father and thus not able to confess anything no matter what, saw this as a chance to leak informations to Yulia and to get her father found out, she was so traumatized by now that she said she wanted Yulia to come and end her life
