I’m up for discussion but i actually really like this manhwa. sure, joo jaekyung is a piece of shit and he is aware of that, but the fact that at least now he is trying his best but we gotta know that improvements isn’t done overnight, especially with that asshole personality of his. so my takeaway is yes, i still want them to end up together (only if Dan willingly wants to) but i feel like we still have a long way to go since they’re still haven’t really talked about themselves but at least they are talking!

joo jaekyung’s background is typical and cliché, but it suits his personality now. we saw Dan as someone special because we saw his POV first (and he is special) BUT to jaekyung he was just another remedy to his jinx (well, until now hehe). he values himself A LOT, because he has always been by himself.

Dan oh my sweet angel baby. I like the way he was written; yes, some people are just like that. I dont particularly think they’re weak, because having a life like that while still trying to make the best out of it is very admirable. however, everyone has a weak point m, Dan’s his grandma (people don’t wish her to bite the dust like that’s literally Dan’s lifeline now come on). but even though he was so used to life just being his grandma he let jaekyung become important to him too (and he sadly trashed that) because thanks to him, he can finally breathe again. jaekyung became important to him—now it’s Dan’s turn to become even more important to jaekyung.

this is my opinion rn hehe (it can def change btw, jaekyung still on thin ice)

they’ve clearly been thru a lot themselves that’s why they’re in this predicament. the mc wants to protect his kid so does the ml and that motherfucker clearly is taking advantage of that… like why blame the victims ) ;

i hope our ml snaps and kill that mf THEN they can work out on their relationship
