i like it so much! i wish we can get a FAT BUNCH of side stories because they were so cute! the slow burn was kinda BURNING so i think i do deserve a treat like 100 episodes of side story perhaps? BUT! it left out so many details that I wish I could see!
1) hyeon being st@lked by a guy in middle school? WILL YOU NOT ELABORATE?
2) the confession gifts to baekya? LIKE? are we not gonna see them at all?! was the only point of those to show that baekya is lowkey popular? understandable BUT PROCEED TO MY NEXT POINT
3) idk it this is an upload error BUT WE WEREN’T SHOWN ANY CONTENTS FROM THE LETTERS?! baekya and hyeon’s letters NOTHING. the gifts NOTHING. the blue haired guys letter to baekya NOTHING.
i truly wish that we can see those! BUT i can also acknowledge the possibility that this series’ storytelling technique relies greatly on the character whose POV is being shown. for example, in baekya’s POV, he’s shown to be more feral and expressive. while in hyeon’s, baekya looks calmer and more put together. I saw that pattern and figured that maybe the details were left out because the narrator of the story simply doesn’t GAF about those details. kind of like an unreliable narrator? which I can respect if that truly is the intention, because i already clocked it from a mile away. still, i wish we can see those details for the sake of extending my experience of reading this story!
I think his stalker incident might be a misunderstanding on hyeon part, with the alleged stalker being baekya. That’s why he randomly got slapped in middle school idk random guess
but baekya was slapped by a drunk (?) guy with a stubble i think. but yeah, i also thought that there was a connection in their random backstory so i was hoping for a clarification!
I had the same questions. I wonder if they were intended or points that were later just dropped to complete the story. At least the stacker one had relevance with the fact that it made the ML effect on his behavior and apologize for his actions (kissing without consent). But the confession letters had no relevance for how often they were mentioned.
i don’t have anyone to talk to about this. but i love it when stories show that omega babies are more precious than having alpha babies. like families dote on them more while alpha children are fucking chaos incarnate. big example is heat and run! i love how the story showed that alpha grandparents would prefer having omega children because they are rarer and more precious than fuck ass alpha children. i also liked lowtide in twilight’s extras where the taeju’s alpha-obsessed grandpa realized that there was no point in obsessing over alpha children when haewol is incredibly cute and precious OMYGOD I HAVE NO ONE TO TALK TO ABOUT THIS
if you have omegaverse stories that show omegas being favored and doted on by families because omegas being rare and precious play a big part on family dynamics PLS LET ME KNOW
because in my brain, it just makes sense that along the way, society will somehow realize that omegas, despite the stereotype that they’re biologically and socially beneath alphas, are precious because they’re cute and lovable and are just a breath of fresh air compared to stinky alphas. i’m just so sick of seeing omegas having it rough yall i need to see them DOTED ON by FULL FAMILIES bro
