It seemed like a slowburn at first, until I reached chapters 22 and 23. Saying "This is going to hurt" to your lover while putting it there for the first time was pretty shitty. Like...why? I seriously thought this was going to be full of slice of life, consensual and realistic sex scenes with enough prepping, and just better than most yaoi's in overall. Turns out I was wrong. The uke (aka bottom), is really irritating because of the way he's just laying still while doing the deed, and constantly saying "no" and "stop please", which screams dubious consent. The top is also too over-the-top for just slamming the uke against walls suddenly. The artwork is amazing, and the plot itself is really promising. The only things I'm having problems with is the way the mc's relationship works right now. Hopefully it get's better near the end or something... (25.5.2025)
