Given his past, damn that is sad and it makes me understand why he is such an asshole today.
Am I saying this justifies him acting horribly towards Dan and raping him? Of fucking course not. No amount of trauma or sad backstory will ever justify the horrible actions one does
Dan also has a sad backstory and comes from struggle, but he at least had his grandmother to guide him in the right direction and raised him better. JK didn't really have that, and yeah you can argue his mentor and his mom could fill those spots, but the mentor has a very hard headed temperament, though can be kind. He displays a tough-love feel if I can explain it that way. I don't believe he really taught or raised JK in place of his dad. JK was still within the environment and influence of his dad which constructed that asshole personality of his. Don't even know where the raping part comes from - probably because he believes he is a big shot and can get what he wants now and prove a point in a twisted way to his dead old man.
But yeah, all in all, all he can do now is to realize what he's actions have done and caused to Dan and become a better person
Do I want them to end up together? Fuck no, Dan deserves way better, but JK can at least become a better person and continue on a better path despite the fact I don't care about his character, it was good to see some backstory for him

I am all for ⍺x⍺, ⍺xΩ, ΩxΩ, ⍺xβ, βxΩ, βxβ with the standard paring, switch and even the one who normally is expected to be the bottom, to top. I am all for Omegaverses as well, but still is where I'm dropping this Manhwa.
I stayed around to give it a chance to hook me or surprise me with a good plot or an intriguing one but I didn't even enjoy this chapter. It felt forced and yes I have read Omegaverses where there is forced sex in it, I am no saint though I have never and will never enjoy these scene but can overlook them and move on with the story.
Lowtide in the Twilight is the perfect example of a story I really really like but can overlook the forced sex.
However even this one didn't sit right with me and lost my interest ( ̄へ ̄)
I really want to know what happened to him for him to be the way he is in Present day. I know a lot of people don't care about his backstory but I really would love to know. He was a good person, and that's the reality of things a lot of people who were nice once had something happen to them that made them into trash and scum of the earth not that it excuses their behaviour.
This right here is the reason why Na Haesoo couldn't let go of Mincheol so easily, because they've been together through a lot and it really is tough to cut someone off after years of licking each other's wounds.
I do like this backstory
Not that I feel pity for the present day Mincheol, he's an asshole and really deserves whatever bad thing comes his way. I am just really intrigued by his backstory because there must've been some reason for a person like Na Haesoo to have married him at one point and stayed with him for as long as she did. There's a story to everything
