In Hyunwoo's perspective he forgave her, and I was reading all this from how he would feel, so I guess in a sense from Hyunwoo's perspective its good? Amd I beg to differ, Hyunwoo is not a love interest of Jo Sua, but rather a best friend made along the way in a place of understanding and challenges. So its good if u understand it in the POV of the characters. Don't go into the story imposing your own wants for the characters, because you will most likely find it not good. It was obvious from the start that the mother's obsession with her youngest daughter was very weird, BUT SHE IS A MOTHER, A MAMA BEAR. She went through hell and abandoned her pride just to feed her 5 daughters all while she has nothing to her name. So NO, this arc is not the author trying to make us like the mother, ITS FINALLY SHOWING TO US THE REASON WHY SHE HAD TO BECOME THAT KIND OF A PERSON.

It's clear that liliana is a villain, and luana expresses deep hatred for that, but i just think its quite unfair for luana to pin down liliana's mistake as Luis' (her brother) mistake also. I think instead of being cold to him, he should give him the same understanding his brother had when she first entered the palace, while his brother was upholding the same stigma. I just think its unfair, especially since Luis wasn't even made aware he has a sister (which again is liliana's fault), and was also tricked by his mother by feeding him all this thoughts and unrealistic expectations. Luis never had bad intentions to begin with, apart from that he was somewhat optimistic to have a sister. I'm not expecting a lovey brother and sister relationship, but I do want for Luana to understand other people in a new perspective, much how his brother understood her in the first place.
I also think that the author likes to make their characters look stupid. Especially for this ML, I like Esteban but it would have been fair if it wasn't obvious that he was the Male Lead, especially making it seemingly obvious Luana is in love with her, while the story is hinting that Luana and the prince from Taorun empire had something going on with their past. Im suspecting that they were lovers in some other life, and i'm also suspecting that the author will end up breaking them up due to some shitty plot twist that Esteban was there first. It's stupid really, it was obivous that Esteban will end up with Luana, and the prince of Taorun Empire is just here so that the story can have that shitty arc where the second male lead syndrome happens.
In short, they are dragging this story too much, for all i care it could have ended in 40 chapters, and many would be satisfied, cause as of this moment, there is really no goal where the story is heading. Luana wanted a safe space, and she got that space 20 chapters in. It could have been something cute, but the author decided that they much preferred the cliche train because they are too lazy to think of a proper plot, and just wanna drag the chapters too much.
Props for the art style remaining consistent though, really like how it doesnt become flat
and three chapters in, the ml is already there, the author just cant wait to have the love route, who cares about character build up? certainly not this story
THE ART IS SO GOOD AND DELICIOUS FROM CHAPTER 1 TO CHAPTER 111, AND THE STORY GETS BETTER AND BETTER (though some may argue that it started quite boring,BUT IT GETS SO SO BETTER)
