I recently binged mission: save the hunter AND reread the hunter’s gonna lay low as well as being in the middle of reading the novel for mission: save the hunter… I really like the hunter/game system/OP setting the story is in. Please please give me recs like this where the yearning is strong and the slow burn rlly burns. i will be eternally grateful

NO SADLY IM NOTTT I just finished the manhwa yesterday and moved to the novel where the manhwa left off so i’m on like the part where they do that one S tier dungeon before the great dungeon reappears in a month (i’m on chapter 115 on the site i read) BUT THE WAYYY IVE BEEN GIGGLING AND KICKING MY FEET READING ALL THESE SMALL FLIRTY INTERACTIONS W THEM OH MY GOD THE BURN IS SOO GOOD!! AND THE WAY KWON JIHAN IS A WHOLE DANG FOREST W THOSE SUBTLE DETAILS HE DOES FOR SEO??? I’m gonna get cavities from it. I genuinely can’t wait to get to the steamy side stories and finally see them get together… i’m literally trying so hard not to even glimpse at them ughh i needa hurry and finish… but the way Jihan literally pieces together small and subtle details abt Seo and realizes just how much pain he’s actually been through is actually so heartbreaking to watch… like he’s actually noticingsorry I lowkey sound unhinged and overly excited i haven’t had anyone to talk to abt this

omg I could feel your excitement, I was also the same when I was reading the novel Jihan x Yeon Seo’s dynamic is my favorite and gawd the way they flirt with eo all throughout the main novel without even being physically intimate (i think they didnt even hold hands until the last few chapters ) makes me want to bite my pillow and scream. You should really finish it because the plot twists are heartbreaking to me, they made me teary eyed and really, really sad. And Jihan omg hes one of my favorite male leads ever, hes so perfect for someone like Yeon Seo. Hes like his anchor.

Oh. My. God. I just finished reading the main story and it’s now 3am….
I went through 20472971917 different types of emotions reading that. The absolutely heart wrenching plot twists with Lee Kangjin and Lee Domin actually made me sob uncontrollably. But then the second to last chapter where they cleared the black portal and kissed?!?! Yes… this is what i waited 170 chapters for. No words can describe the sorrow, joy, pain, and sweetness I felt all from just these last few chapters… It was a total rollercoaster!! The author is incredible I mean this story was so so so well written and i NEVER read the novels for ongoing manhwa no matter the urge except with this one… it was absolute bliss. I am now feeling that hole of emptiness after finishing one of the few sacred peak stories out there… I’m actually thinking that I might not read the manhwa anymore because the scenes and the story and the plot twists and everything are actually so so painful and unbearable…. Like i legit don’t think i’ll have the courage to see it in manhwa versionMy poor Kangjin bro my heart actually is in shambles THEN SEEING LEE DOMIN NOW A PART OF THE DUNGEON AUGHH LORD I CANT TAKE IT UGHHH Im actually so devastated….but also knowing that so many other stars/planets r going through this “tutorial/first stage” seems INCREDIBLY cruel to me… I also was thinking it might be cool if Seo and Jihan become gods as well but lowkey they’ve been through so much let them rest my godI will now try my best to savior these side stories and try not to burn through them too quickly… thanks, now i’m gonna be contemplating everything in life wondering if those born strong should always be required or assumed to protect the weak even if it means it’s at their own expenses… Wow i actually can’t express the lasting feelings and emotions this novel has left me in… i’m actually astonished and my heart still aches…
omg you’re finally done with the main story i know right, it’s so so well written, the novel was ABSOLUTE CINEMA. Literally one of the best korean novels I’ve read. Gawd the plot twists really stabbed me in the heart, Domin and Kangjin deserve better. I actually stopped reading for a while after the reveal bc my heart just couldnt take it. Before that, I kinda suspected Kangjin, like why was he acting so suspicious and even hiding his gaia power. But then boom! You’ll realise why Gaia chose him, why this system gave him that specific power He’s so selfless I think Im gonna cry once we see this in the manhwa adaptation.
omg i think you’re cooking when you said you wanted them to be gods like heck yeah I think they deserve to be one. These two are literally the ones who saved mother earth haha. But gawd when Jihan was so desperate trying to go back to where Yeon Seo is in that black hole thing, that moment I realised that Yeon Seo and Jihan are going to be one of my ultimate fictional ships. Both of them are willing to sacrifice their own life just to keep each other safe. I love them so much. And yes, one of the amazing things about the novel is how well it portrays Yeon Seo’s trauma, and dang how this novel also makes me questions my morals. It’s so gooood.

So I just finished the novel and i’m in absolute shambles rn… But to anyone worried abt a sad ending, fear not the mc and ml r soooo cute
To anyone wondering when they get together, it happens in like the second to last episode where they enter the black portal and they actually share a brief kiss initiated by Kwon Jihan lolll. Something actually happens right before entering it which i won’t spill unless anyone wants to know but essentially it really triggers Kwon Jihan’s possessive/clingy instinct lollll. Anyways, if u are continuing to read this manhwa just know that there one one hell of a lot of emotional heart wrenching, heart demolishing, heartbreaking, and absolutely shambling plot twists… Anyways, I will leave it at that. Truly this story is one of the best out there and you must read it!!! (Though idk if i have the courage to reread this story in the manhwa form after reading all those tragedies)

After clearing the Great Dungeon with Kwon Jihan, and making sure that everybody has exited the Great Dungeon, Kwon Jihan starts yapping about the plan they have to Yoon Seo (which consisted of an enormously powerful bomb that could even break the barrier of the dungeon). to withstand such a big blast they would need Yoon Seo’s insanely powerful shield at 100% mana. however, while fighting earlier at the last stage, he kinda loses it and goes a little crazy and fights a little too much so right now his current mana is at around 93%. (and they don’t have enough time for him to regain his mana before the black portal closes). They need Yoon Seo to have 100% mana to guarantee a 90-99% survival rate. But with even a 93%, the survival rate drops significantly to ~53%. Yoon Seo, who doesn’t want to even consider putting Kwon Jihan in the slightest risk, (and just when he wished to not die and keep living with Kwon Jihan and Riceball to see the future…) sees the “sacrifice yourself rn and the Great Dungeon doesn’t appear until another 10 years or clear the portal now and save humanity” and decides to choose the sacrifice option because in his mind he thought “if humanity has advanced this much in the last 10 years and we didn’t even lose a single person in the Great Dungeon this time, then the next time humanity will surely be able to clear this so much easier next time. So, there is no point in putting Kwon Jihan at risk.” Kwon Jihan, who got an idea of what Yoon Seo was thinking, immediately starts to panic and he’s like “Hyung, even with your mana rn, we still have over a 50% survival rate! we can still do this together!” but to no avail, Yoon Seo initiates a fight and says the strongest gets to enter alone. Kwon Jihan, who doesn’t have the heart to even leave a scratch on his hyung’s face, ultimately loses when Yoon Seo uses a different form of Terraforming (i think) that moves Jihan right next to the portal which starts to suck him in. Jihan, absolutely devastated, starts pleading to Yoon Seo as Yoon Seo also takes Riceball out and gives him to Jihan. Jihan, cursing and swearing, tries his best to stay out of the exit portal as he digs his nails into the soil and gets all of them ripped off before the portal completely sucks him in just as Yoon Seo’s soft voice tells him “Goodbye.” Anyways, in the exit portal, Jihan is so desperate begging the gods (as he’s being pushed to the outside world) to put him back in, when a voice inside the dungeon tells him he will grant his wish and to make sure that Jihan takes “good care of his friend…” ╥﹏╥( I won’t say who it is bc it’s a big spoiler). While all this happens, Yoon Seo enters the black portal with a cold face, and tells the Gaia system that he wishes to choose the sacrifice option. But for some reason (bc of Kwon Jihan lolll) the Gaia system is hesitating and stalling for time by making typos on their system board LMAOO even the gods of life and death were tryna stall for more time by telling Yoon Seo to take a nap or something so that Kwon Jihan could enter the black portal before Yoon Seo chose the sacrifice option. Then, out of nowhere, Yoon Seo is overcome by emotions when he feels an arm wrap around his back… and Kwon Jihan, in a desperate state, with a cold voice says “Never. Never ever do that ever again.” And Yoon Seo starts to breakdown crying… and so begins Kwon Jihan’s clingy side…. But later in the side stories it is made clear that Jihan now suffers from PTSD and many other things from that specific event and has to take a lot of meds and therapy every time he hears the word “goodbye”. Anyways, ty for listening to my rambling lmao i rlly wanted to share this in a way that i truly experienced the emotions in bc it was such an emotional chapter i cried every second of it.
