The mom is trying and I respect that, but the rift that has been going on for years is not going to be easy to heal specially with the dad, since mom only took the chance because the shitty dad is not there, but she isn't really happy with his son's "life decisions anyway"
Also, OMG Morinaga having his brain in his dick always, good thing now that Sempai got character development and he is more reliable, he was always good with family stuff, but him giving a supporting hug and calling Morinaga cute, is something I never thought I'll see.
