I get it, these strong omegas "defending themselves" is a breath of fresh air but... Just repeatedly striking him when ML's clearly not fighting back is low and mc jumps between violence and sex without remorse (not unusual when it comes to omegaverse). I get he lied and all but the strike to the head following the betrayal is unbalanced here, the violence is just repetitive and doesn't add tension to the scene bc he does it so often. What's more, the repeated banging of his WEAK SPOT in the forehead, possibly lethal area to injure, against a (probably) marble column makes an impact that contrasts a lot w the weight of the actions. It even makes the ML that's supposed to be "the bad guy" on this situation seem pitiful, even a subject of sympathy bc ppl don't like a punching bag and violence that's not met w defense.
Maybe I just read too much into it... Being this, one of the many manhuas w the same art style and paneling that are pumped out without much thought but I just like thug stories and think this had great comedic and deep potential and it's just dumbing down MC to a violent, senseless brute when it's said he's got educational formation in law and great street smarts, where's that if he actively attempts against the life of the person that's financing him and got him a job? Regardless of the lies, that would leave him bare, with no backing and, as confident as he is in himself, he's still quite ignorant to the world he's in. Priority should be getting in his feet, survival "as it is in the streets", it's just disappointing storytelling tbh
