ML starts treating him better and doesnt fight back unlike before. Their dynamic is pretty hilarious and they fight a LOT but you can tell that they actually rlly care for eo. The story overall is pretty good

So... based from the novel, the reason why nine seems to be the only one affected by the sacrificial rituals is bc, from what i assume, he was a human prince who lived in a continent where humans ruled and felt emotions blabla and that Amon, who was a dragon, fell in love and kidnapped him. And this seemed to have happened more than a thousand years ago
And bc amon treasured nine, he was sacrificed and eaten by Amon to be reborn (Hence the reason Amon stares at him so hungrily lmao).
Also the reason why nine doesnt want more resha's is bc the resha's are also being sacrificed huhu there was one resha who nine was fond of but ended up being sacrificed but amon didnt care omg instead he just ordered the high priest to fog his memory
