i honest to god dont get why so many people are reading this if they hate the ml. yes, we're getting his backstory, but it's not to justify his actions. It's just character development. he's a black flag, and we all know this, yet every week people are in these comments SHOCKED that he's not a good person? jaekyung was a pos to dan, but other black flags like caesar, zhenya, etc don't get shit on nearly this much and they were arguably way worse
Maybe cos this work has more connections with reality than others.
