The term "Will" and how its described here reminded me of a book I read a while back, y'all should give it a shot. "Will" there is pre similar, when you have it you exceed human limits, but also, Will can be taken from someone(basically a torture machine that takes will constantly from a person) or someone can channel their Will onto someone else willingly so that person becomes stronger. Very good book, its called "The Will of the Many".

i dated someone like this, he always made me feel bad for hanging out with my friends and shit talked them all the time, then made me feel guilty that im "turning into them if i am friends". When he started doing the same with my family and his family to isolate me more was when i realised, but by then its been what? nearly 2 years since i last saw or spoke to my friends. obv there was a lot of other crazy things but when youre in the situation, it can be hard to spot or get out when you're the victim.

The pacing and flow of story is so bad. It honestly seems like the author made a list of events they want to happen thoughtout the story but didn't link them together. The progression is clumsy, disjointed and confusing. Events unfold without us seeing it, and its just explained in one or two panels in text bubbles. In some cases, Sayi would be in one place in a chapter but in the next chapter she is somewhere completely different right at the start.

The plot and story is interesting, but its happening too fast, plot moving events happens every chapter, with no time to breathe or develop anything or anyone properly. The passage of time is also unclear, and because events happen without us seeing it, its hard to say how much time has passed.
