omg that one convo under me is fr weird. Like most people aren’t complaining that “omg why do they always win” it’s bc of how the matchs r formatted. 1. they play and Isagis weirdo equation is missing something and they r so doo doo 2.opponents start scoring 3. isagi fixes his weird equation and they start scoring 4. Isagi gets the last score and they win. 99% of the games that isagi plays end up like this.
I don’t really like sport anime’s but I LOVE haikyuu so I always give sport manga/anime’s a chance. But the big difference between haikyuu and bllk is that the haikyuu matches were always unexpected and made sense at the same time. When haikyuu played the first team in their prefecture (the gangster guys or the light blue team) Karasuno sweep the floor with them, SHOWNING US THAT THEY R A GOOD TEAM. Also, at the training camp they learned through failure, losing against the other 3 teams SOOO MANY TIMESSS.
the only time bllk lost is when isagi was chosen for rins team with crybaby guy and long hair luxury guy. They never lost again (im pretty sure…)
bllk is still good but it would have been so coolfor bllk to come to the u20 and they swiped the floor with whatever team they were playing maybe getting a 0-5 or something. Artist was caught tracing. They turned to it bc they couldn't keep up with their crushing weekly deadlines, so instead of addressing this unsustainable practice that caused the artist to turn to tracing (which is still wrong, there's no justifiable excuse for it), they unceremoniously axed the manhwa.

I think what a lot of us are uncomfortable with is that Lyle would do ANYTHING for Ash, even if it makes him so uncomfortable. For me, both are in fault of this, Lyle for not explicitly stating his limits/discomfort and Ash for not really checking in with Lyle to make sure this was ok. He did that during the main story, which is a HUGE reason why we all loved him so much. Ash knows that Lyle has a difficult time expressing his genuine thoughts, and Lyle has a history of bending over backwards for the people he loves, no matter the personal cost.
