Wow.. for those who do not know, in Italian Omertà refers to the crime of "silence" when a witness does not testify/denounce a crime for fear of retaliation (usually for mafia crimes). This, unfortunately is a widespread phenomenon in southern regions... TT as a Sicilian, this hits my kokoro...
