I would like to say that every empire in the past should’ve let women fight? Not only is that more ‘Man power’ but it’s also a great way to keep your city secure. let’s say if we’re still going with the men go out to war scenario if you trained your women and the children to have some fighting instinct, then if somebody decided to pull a sneak attack you have a fighting chance because if everybody has some idea of how to fight then it would be much harder for enemies to get in
