I've just recently read Dreadful Night and wondered if there was anything else similar to it - like survival horror and (if possible) a time loop (almost like Re/member on netflix if you've watched that). I don't care much for romance (but I prefer yaoi or no romance) and I'd rather have a male protagonist over a female.
