FL’s father claims their mother died giving birth to larissa & that their love was one that “transcended species” turns out he actually captured her (since she was a fairy) & forced her into a contract to have 3 children. once she had the third child she was free to leave
turns out since their brother is older, he remembers their mother. when she was leaving, he begged her to take him & she didn’t. he blames larissa for being born therefore making the mother leave. when he would beat her, it was actually for this reason. their brother dies from a gunshot wound fired by ML’s uncle.
their father dies from an accident in the gold mine
FL and ML end up having a real wedding. they have to reschedule their honeymoon three times because they spend so much time in the bedroom after the wedding lol. they end up having a baby girl with red eyes like ML. girls cannot inherit titles, but ML promises to change that & makes her his heir.
Richard proposes to larissa & she says yes.
i’m not sure if it’s ever stated in the novel, but i'm pretty sure the ogML from the fairy tale is richard. i believe fabian either died (since marcia wasn’t there to save him from assassination attempts) or he couldn’t marry anyone
