I read the novel so SPOILER ALERT: ml is madly in love with the mc but he's also mad at the mc for breaking up with him. So what does the ml do? Mess up the mc's life, of course! Also, ml r*ped the mc later in the novel AND the manhua (both the novel and the manhua didnt go into details as to how ml did it to the mc, thankfully)
