I enjoyed the read so far but I just gotta say, the emperor feels so incompetent to me. Like this homie is a dumb sword-whore that doesn't belong anywhere near a position of power. I'm not even sorry, if I had to work for that guy I'd just end it here and there bc torture victim isn't a job description I remember subscribing to.
