no, the uke's decision is valid bc it's objectively a bad decision. he's still thinking that he's straight but he goes messing around with a gay guy who's, as far as he knows, kind enough to fake date him. putting aside the secret rooms, the show also prohibits sexual contact beyond kissing. the couple's ongoing fuck buddy situation is just a bad idea that will narratively lead to conflicts, so putting some distance between them is a good solution to that. you, however, seem to have some deeper stuff going on regarding insecurity and shame relating to affection and sex. you don't need distance or self-control, but open communication.
