idk if the author intended to do this, but i think it’s so fascinating how black scythe essentially gets to play god. he knows exactly what it takes to stay alive and make it to the next round, and only shares this knowledge or willingness to carry people if he deems them useful. if he wants someone to stay alive, he is perfectly capable of doing whatever it takes to do so.
i love nerd characters who express their nerdiness at times where u expect a more conventionally romantic interaction, but then the facts they spout out end up making the moment cuter
