it's been a while since I found spoilers but what I remember is they end up together. they find out she's the princess of the cloyan kingdom and she rules that kingdom for a bit I think

He also didn't like Ines so he lied about her treatment in the mansion. Basically he lied in his reports making Ines sound like a liar.
