these two are my ALL TIME FAVORITE MANHWA COUPLE like they are my comfort couple lmao i love these two sooooo much they're relationship is the best part of the novel.

- i wanna clear up something first, they don't mention it here in the manhwa but in the novel, it was stated that max ended up staying in her room for 4 days not just one. she let him use her bathroom and everything, gave him food, very domestic stuff lol.
- they also cut a very 'sensual' part ig you could say lol??? where he touches her lips while she's asleep. oh and he also slept on the floor not next to her on her bed.
- if you keep up w the raws you'll know that she will end up 'fake dating' him in order for her father to not marry her to the crown prince lol.
- max is reluctant of course but ultimately agrees as this is his only way to get closer to her before he can reveal that he is the crown prince.
- they have their dates where she takes him to buy clothes, they go eat strawberry cake all that cute stuff.
- when she announces that she is in a relationship w max it's when she attends rose's tea party. mikhail is there he gets jealous yadayada and then they leave to go eat cake lol.
- max is very protective of her since she's very clumsy. there's this one scene where she's cutting roses to host her own tea party and he shows up and sees her holding scissors in her hand and freaks out bc he thinks she'll cut herself. he ends up cutting the roses for her.
- they eat together at her home. sometimes w her dad other times w/o bc he's very busy.
- there's a moment where he has to leave to go to war and he takes her handkerchief w him. she's very sad to know he has to go.
- while he's away juvel kind of goes into a slump?? basically she misses him and feels lonely. she's always worrying about him.
- he returns after 1 or 2 months i'm not sure i don't remember lol. anyways she gets mad at him for not writing her any letters and he feels bad and it's the first time he genuinely apologizes.
- forgot to mention they're in her room when this happens lol and he tries to leave after she falls asleep but her hand grabs his wrist and he ends up staying. he sleeps on the floor (again lol) w her hand intertwined w her own.
- they attend another ball but it wasn't that important lol
- after that she starts to REALLY fall for him but she thinks that it'll only burden him bc she still thinks that her father wants to marry her off to the crown prince.
- at this point max is completely head over heels in love w her.
- there's this incident that happens w mikhail and max ends up saving her and once they get in the carriage he confesses that he's in love w her.
- she's very shocked at first and tells him if he could give her some time to think about her answer. he's reluctant at first but agrees.
- she tells him that she'll give him an answer after the princess' coming-of-age ceremony.
- there's this cute moment where he gifts her some hairpins and puts them on her himself. he says that it was hard to hold back from trying not to kiss her in that moment bc he told her to close her eyes. he didn't want to scare her away.
