- on the day of beatrice's coming-of-age ceremony, juvellian decides to wear a sky blue dress to make herself not noticeable but it fails lmao. she also decides to wear the hairpins that max gifted her.
- when max sees her (he's in his armor so no one can see his face lol) he says that she looked like an innocent angel and that she looks very pretty.
- this is all in his head btw she still doesn't know who he is.
- he wanted to go straight to her and reveal himself but he knew it was dangerous bc of his father, the emperor.
- the emperor uses people's weaknesses against them and max doesn't want to put juvellian in danger.
- juvellian is dragged away by her friends to go play card games and that's when we meet the 2nd ml, Frederick Lionel Elios.
- juvellian gets dragged away by beatrice and there's a small commotion but max (in his armor) comes to save them and that's when she realizes who the crown prince is.
- they go back to the ballroom and frederick comes up to juvellian once more and asks her for a dance.
- forgot to mention frederick is the son of the prime minister. he has blond hair and green eyes.
- max sees this while he's dancing w beatrice and gets jealous. beatrice let's him go to juvel and thinks juvel is better off w max lol.
- max interrupts frederick and frederick is like whatever not before he tells juvel to call him fred the next time they meet. this ticks max off even more lol.
- max and juvel dance for a bit until she says 'did you enjoy tricking me?' and asks him to follow her to the terrace.
- they arrive at the terrace and she says she knows who he is and says that they should end the fake dating.
- he thinks she wants to end things for good and ends up crying, begging her not to leave him, that he won't do anything she doesn't like.
- she makes him promise and he nods which is very cute in her eyes.
- he tells her he loves her and juvel kisses his tears away and that surprises both of them lol. he then asks her if he can kiss her too and she says yes.
- btw this is max's first kiss lmao and juvel says that he's very clumsy at first but then he starts kissing her harder and it turns into a makeout session lol.
- he starts touching her neck, her waist, her back. he then thinks about giving her a hickey but realizes that she's wearing a choker.
- in his inner monologue he literally says he wants to swallow her whole, from head to toe. IUUBEDNSKJUH
