- after they're done making out lmao she asks him why he hides his face from others. he says it's bc of his enemies. then she asked him why he kept his identity hidden from her and he says it's bc she was afraid of him.
- she immediately feels bad bc she's always said awful things about him. she tells him that now she knows that he's a sweet and friendly person. he gets happy.
- at this point in the story she still thinks she's in a 'novel' so she starts thinking that max is going to die bc he was the main villain in the novel and tears up saying she doesn't want to lose him.
- he thinks she's crying bc of him and tells her once again that he won't do anything she doesn't like. she says thank you and he blushes telling her not to thank him for every little thing. then they kiss again.
- they decide to keep their relationship a secret bc of the emperor and empress.

[these next spoilers won't be in order]
- so after they start dating for real, let me tell you max is the CLINGIEST like SUPER CLINGY w her its super cute.
- he literally kisses her whenever he can, always touching her cheek, touching her hair, hugging her, putting her in his lap. any physical contact.
- at one point this man marks the shit out of her neck and it kind of makes her mad bc she thinks it isn't healthy and he promises he won't do it without her permission next time.
- she has to wear a choker for like the next week. it's so funny bc geraldine and her dad question her but she just says it's bc of a cold. YIBIINJSM
- there's gonna be a hunting competition and he asks her to make him a handkerchief bc before this Frederick had asked juvel to make him a handkerchief. (fred doesn't know that she's in a relationship w max)
- what i really like about these two is that the '2nd mls' don't really interfere w their relationship (except mikhail but fuck him) they're only about each other which is super sweet.
- there is a total of 4 mls. there's max the main male lead, there's mikhail the psycho ass mfing ex, there's fred the prime ministers son and there's ian the one who works in the workshop that juvel visited in the earlier chapters (i don't remember the #'s jkshd)
- like i said they don't really have a chance w her bc at this point max and juvel are very much in love w each other.
- at this point in the story her relationship w her dad is A LOT better and she ends up making 2 handkerchiefs, one for her dad and one for max.
- max, juvel and regis are so hilarious as a trio. their scenes are the best.
- max reveals his identity to everyone at the hunting competition when juvel is almost eaten by a dire wolf that the emperor released on her. he saves her and cries bc he thought he almost lost her.
- anyways after that their relationship is public now. there's instances where the emperor tries tricking max to use juvel but he fails.
- so we are now skipping to juvel's coming-of-age ceremony. max decides he wants to propose on that day. to make it special.
- after she finishes dancing w her dad, max wants to take her to the terrace where he prepared fireworks w the help of freesia.
- but she then tells him they should go to her room instead where they can be alone. he's reluctant at first but decides that doing it in her room would be better since that is the first place where they met. they hug and kiss for a while. he massages her ankle when he realizes she's tired from dancing.
- he then leads her to her balcony and tells her to close her eyes.
- he proposes with 2 things. obviously a ring and the next (which is the most cutest/sweetest/saddest thing) is his mother's old tiara.
- he asks her to marry him and she says yes and they kiss. (can't wait to see this drawn ahhhhh)
- when she was in her coma he ended up staying w her for 6 days iirc w/o sleeping and eating. he was very worried about her.
[i'm gonna skip over to the end of the story. there's a lot more but it's really hard to explain.]
- max and beatrice commision her wedding dress and it makes juvel very emotional that her two favorite people did something like this for her. she asks if she can try it on and they agree.
- when max sees her he starts crying bc she's so pretty and thanks her for choosing him. (CRIES I LOVE THEM)
- they have their wedding the same day as max's coronation which immediately makes them both the emperor and empress.
- on their wedding night max asks her how many kids she wants. he continues to tell her that they don't have to have kids that he can just appoint beatrice's kids as his heir.
he's scared that she'll die during childbirth.
- she says she wants 2 one for the empire and another for the duke. (as heirs)
also bc she really wants to be a mom and she wants to show them to her dad. it will be the fruit of her and max's love is what she says in her mind.
- and then they have the seggs.
- whoops forgot to mention they had seggs before they got married LMAO. so technically this was their second time.
