i remember when there was a flashback w jaeshin and his brothers when he was younger where they mentioned that jaeshin's mom (who was a human) didn't recognize him/remember him when he went looking for her since they said once someone dies and gets brought to the afterlife they don't remember anything from their previous life (i don't remember what chapter it was AHHHH)
maybe that's why he's so scared of lee nok dying bc once he dies he won't remember who he is or remember all of the time they spent together :(
