a 100/10 story. it did everything right and handled the age gap really well. the uke is SO SO SO attractive, i fell in love with him at first sight honestly
and both the taeyangs were real cutie pies. sunshines. i love everything about this story!! if only it was longer </3
the charm of runaway ukes and second chance romances is irresistible. ate WELL tonight
reading this last chapter as someone who hates democracy was so annoying
the stupidest, most exploitable system
i hate it when writers shove modern ideologies into high fantasy
like u have DRAGONS here and an ACTUALLY GOOD MONARCH why would u ruin it with shitty ass democracy of all things
gross!!! (but loved the rest of the story, 10/10 read)
Monarchy isn't good either cause what if the ruler six generations ahead just becomes like the evil king. Democracy is good in concept but capitalism corrupts the vote, and frankly in this world where no one goes hungry and the streets are paved in gold there's no way to corrupt voting through bribes and lobbying. Basically where democracy has failed us it may work in this fantasy world surprisingly.
lmao you know what, you’ve got a point. only in a fantasy world could democracy work, where capitalism doesn’t affect every segment of society. kudos to you for mentioning that. and rather than an absolute monarchy, i was leaning more towards a collaborative, merit-based system w a monarch held accountable by meritocratic ministers and councilmen — its where things seemed to be headed w the daughter’s interactions w the dragon’s son and that other black haired kid
still tho, it felt depressing AF seeing that same shit from the news these days in such a cool story
100000/10 story — a rare gem that only appears once in a long, long while.
sometimes you can just tell that the author is a genuinely good person. in this story, you can see every character was imagined and brought to life with a love that only comes from knowing and caring for all kinds of souls. this was beautiful from start to finish and it felt like i was living every emotion alongside these fictional people.
the overall quality is unmatched. the art, the storytelling, the flow, pace, everything. i couldn’t get enough of it all.
(spoilers ahead)
i adore how the two MCs are legitimately kind people. i feared yoonsung would turn out to be the yandere red flag type, but he was so true to his love.
and i also admired how the family plot line didn’t end in resentment. it’s realistic. i’m glad the MCs forgave them, because life spent resenting your family that does care for you, no matter how misguided their expression may be, is a miserable life.
and grandpa/chairman… bro i cried. he and buddy are my favorite characters

ayyy it’s rare as hell to find an intp in fiction, much less an actually cool n non stereotypical one
mokyeon my boy u go getter u
(n nanjos an esfj? no wonder hes so attractive)
