I read some spoilers and Keira's mom wasn't worth an ounce of pity either. Apparently, she always bullied the first wife(cossette's mom) and plotted with her dad to get 'cossette's mother' killed. The mother was running away trying to save her daughter but Keira's grandpa sent assassins who killed the kid and the 1st duchess. The duchess summoned the devil in order to save her daughter corvette but the devil tricked her and instead inhabited her daughter's body to wreak havoc in the future. The duke knew that his wife was being bullied but didn't do anything because he followed the tradition of 'neutrality. （￣へ￣） I don't think anyone in her family other than her and her brother is a decent person. The grandpa, mom, and dad are all pieces of shit. Her dad did everything following a stupid principle of neutrality because he lived like that as a child, the problem was that the consequences were drastic. Her mother and grandpa destroyed 2 innocent people's lives for their own greed.
