I don’t hate it but it definitely became slop for me since the pacing is super rushed. The poor pacing really made the son’s feelings seem so superficial which was only made worse when they jump immediately into sex right after meeting again. Even the “uncle’s” love and anguish for the father seemed so minor… the story had potential to be pretty good if executed well
am I crazy? it feels like the chapters are shorter now…. it could just be the pacing or maybe just a lack of screen time from my beautiful wife

i low-key wish these chapters were at the end of season two, not at the beginning of season 3. it’s just so slow… waited months for an update and it’s just exposition from a previous season
the artstyle has become so chunky and dark, like the lineart is so much more pronounced and the color grading is different from before. It’s so jarring to jump back and forth between now and just 20 to 30 chapters ago. Before the artist used to draw my boy so beautifully but he just looks so strange lately (same with the other characters)
