lmao yeah i pity him, sure, but the fact that he had zero sympathy for Dan when they first met, especially since he grew up poor, irks me. because you'd expect his behaviour to be of someone who grew up around money, not from a dude who lived similarly to Dan when he was young. He's fundamentally an asshole.
