As an aroace person this is actually like really self indulgent for me. Ive been having a hard time feeling solid in my identity coz of all the romance stories ive been reading because theyre so nice that i feel like i want it for myself. I really identify with the way the mc perceives the world and i think thats more similar to what im feeling. Also the fact that she has that one partner she can rely on in ways that are only accepted in romantic relationships i think what i really want is a relationship like that minus the romance.
