I wouldn't be surprised if author misunderstands trans people too. It's already evident that she hates gay men since in both man on man scenes (Cha-Jongwoo, Cha-Minho) she quickly made it a threesome by adding women (Duna, Hong Dohee) instead of showing gay romance scenes. For that purpose, Cha is also shown to be violent only towards men, because otherwise she'd have to show an actual gay scene and worse, have him treat Minho like a human being later on, which is clearly something author doesn't want. Idk how she'll write the bl since Minho is straight and Cha is a rapist. Minho will become more homophobic and Cha more violent ig if she doesn't want to show actual sex scenes between them. Koogi refrained from calling ks a bl and I feel Yeonhui should too.
Regarding the trans shebang too, I'm not comfortable with the fact that Duchi likes Haesol but only if he was in the woman's body as was implied in his ranobe "My roommate is a girl" or something and him dating Sera because she looks like him, which is very unfair because she's an amazing girl and shouldn't only be desirable because she looks like a guy he's attracted to and probably wishes he could date but cannot. Gyerin said that Duchi has a type but being attracted to a guy and fantasizing about being with him as long as he's female isn't exactly about type.
Idk why author chose to add the "Duchi likes Haesol" angle when they clearly cannot end up together nor can Duchi address his feelings in the manhua. I also think it's also a way to imply how desirable Duna and Haesol are, like Minho being unable to get erect with anyone except Duna and Duchi projecting his feelings for Haesol in his dating life, writing etc. Both these things are very very problematic since one implies that Minho is emotionally stunted because of Duna or a victim and the other implies transphobia.
