this amazing character development makes me cry. the light back in ines’s eyes make me so emotional too, after all she’s been through I’m so happy she’s finally in a situation in which she feels safe to express herself and happy!!
after hearing so many of my fav manhwas being cancelled bc of the artist backing out or bc their health declined, im happy this story is still ongoing! i understand the ppl who are just sad it changed and are struggling to get used to it. im going to focus on the fact it’s still nice tho, bc there has been some webtoons that went to shit in comparison after an artist changed
after binging the whole novel and sides lol, the only thing that made me mad was how many times paula forgives her sister like don’t get me wrong i know they have a complicated relationship bc of paulas trauma with losing her other siblings. they make it clear that’s why she can’t just let her evil sister go. but GOD the novel made me despise her more than i thought possible and paula was too kind to her even after some evil ass shit she pulls. i respect our fl that she remains adamant about not losing someone else, especially after lucas also, but i just wanted to see her sister get what she deserves with my own eyes and not just infer it oof. still this is definitely my favorite novel ive ever read hehe

honestly the burn is so great their relationship grows as she continues to care for his nephew, and then ethan comes back and ofc recognizes her. Her and Ethan bond bc his silly ass plotting. Vincent is a bit hot and cold with her bc i think he’s confused and jealous even without knowing Ann is Paula, but he settles his shit lmfao. Just be prepared for Alicia to get on your nerves.

same she was annoying at best, but now i genuinely hate her to ur follow up, im not sure how the manwha will pace the plot from the story but in the novel it took like over a dozen chapters lol. You can tell he’s suspicious at first and then he’ll realize it’s Paula but doesn’t say anything at first. When she finds out he knows, she’s a bit hesitant. It takes them a but longer to end up together mostly due to Paula being insecure, but our ML is super patient. It’s a she falls first but he falls harder story.

that’s what ive heard! there’s a reddit about it and i saw someone announce it wasn’t coming back. it went on hiatus awhile back bc of health issues the artist was going thru, and literal abuse the publishers were doing to her. it was kind of accepted the hiatus may be indefinite now :,)

I usually don’t expect too much in the character development in manhwas, but i REALLY want her to have her arc be in part becoming a bit more considerate lol. I love a strong-willed character who doesn’t let shii bother her, but she doesn’t have like any emotional intelligence or compassion. She is pretty selfish too in a lot of ways.
I understand she gave up her freedom to keep her sister and family alive and happy, so I don’t think it’s too much to ask for her to continue growing and maturing in her relationships. And i think it would make it more interesting too!
I’m a bit nervous for the adaptation because of how many moments between Vincent and Paula that might be cut, I might have to reread the novel lmfao. Worth the read if anyone is considering it!!
