it is EVERYTHING wrong with it. the problem with this not being a bl is exactly that... these stories has been happening a lot recently and it's basically almost gay erasure. it's really not that deep but like...? the story could've proceeded the same way even if it was a straight relationship. the bl factor is there for BAIT and unnecessary. the character is originally gay but now they make them ungay bc the MC is a girl.
I love my BLs but gender bender has been always a thing (hence it even has its own genre here lol). Also what do you mean that it does not matter if MC is openly showing she is girl???? In the first place, she will not be able to get close with the guy if she is a girl because there is a boundary between sexes. Imagine a maid sleeping next to the young master or a maid getting close to the male heir.

They just said it's a 'bl' novel and didn't explain any futher.
In the first chapter they were only 16 and 8 years old but it gets worse, guess what, the older guy was 22 and the kid was FOURTEEN when he begun to SEXUALLY ASSAULT A FUCKING GODDAMN CHILDDDDDD
