I really REALLY dislike that he slapped his wife, like even following up with the statement of “I didn’t expect a physical slap to get rid of the spirit” felt so demoralizing. I know I might seem insane but man this story is so complex and I feel so conflicted but I can 100% confirm I just don’t really like the husband, even after trying to understand him.
