if I got isekaid I would be so into whatever magic system the world had going but these girlies rlly just be walking around like “oh that’s Greg the magician” or “that’s my friend he does funny tricks sometimes” like wtf
Even if I didn’t have talent for it I’d be sniffing any magic I could get hands on like crack cocaine and I don’t understand how the female leads don’t do it!! If I could get a pebble to float I’d be so excited like dang wait until I can float two.
AND THE ROMANCE LEAD OPTIONS. there’s the prince, the heir to the dukedom, the wizard, the knight, all of them are just GUYS who do guy stuff like hold a sword or do paperwork but the wizard can shoot lasers why is he never end game??
There’s so many interpretations too. Sometimes there’s priests who by our definition is a wizard or mage but their magic is considered differently because it’s more holy (I still count it count it as magical). Sometimes the wizards are soldiers, sometimes they’re researchers.
So basically I wanted recommendations where a) the female lead becomes a wizard-esque character and goes deep magic shit or b) the male lead is a wizard esque character (and he’s end game!) or c) IF ITS OUT THERE they’re both wizards and go off and do wizardly stuff together

Nop. I definitely feel like the focus of mangago it manhua/weebtoons now. Every time I see the recently updated I see more and more of this and less manga.
This is really good as horror or psychological. I really love how they don’t sugarcoat anything the ml does. Other manwhas have mls that are obsessive or are stalkers or want to control the mc but mix it up with sweet gestures so that it’s palatable as a romance. But in real life it would be so scary to deal with
