I feel very sad in this kind of discriminatory world where even if the main character achieve happiness, I know the world is still bad so it makes me upset.
Also, his backstory is so sad ;-;
Usually a very short inserted sad backstory doesn’t make me feel emotional (there has to be a longer build up) but the scene where he’s all beaten up and he sees his half sister so preciously taken care of and his mom chooses to ignore him is so saddd
I feel like because his mom abandoned him he also abandoned himself. he’s selfish and not very good but not that bad either, he’s not without empathy so I hope he can improve himself and find his own happiness
