I don't particularly hate the MC... I understand why he did that in the past ... He didn't know the side and circumstances of the FL... This novel for me was healing.... It showed how the FL faced her trauma (the MC) and how she overcame it... The character development and facing each ones trauma.... I felt the hate of other readers for the ML ..the manhwa itself ... Some say it's trash but this will always have a special place in my heart... I had a relationship before..where I loved someone deeply but our relationship was toxic for each other.... we did love each other but I had deep traumas... we kept harming each other .it was hard for me to change myself and face my trauma and accept his love ... He did knock and waited for me patiently .but I went to far....and I deeply regret all of it .. I kept asking myself if I did what the FL did . What if I trusted him too .. believed in him too... Would I be able to have a more better ending with the one I love?..... For me It gave me happiness.. "the abandoned empress" gaved me hope even just for a bit... It showed me that trusting someone again can help me heal.. I hope those people who pushed away their loved ones and holding up their emotions find courage to trust and believe on their loved ones... And their self .. it's okay to be afraid, heal and take time... But don't ever give up and assume the worst possible thing Everytime... You are not alone.
