I think I understand why cakeverse weirds me out. Maybe not this particular manga but its predecessors. They make cannibalism an innate instinct in humans and idk man. I just can't wrap my head around ppl in these types of stories being in a romantic/sexual relationship but there's a risk that one will eat the other yknow?
Compared to mangas like make a delicious omega squeak, where characters have beast characteristics that kinda makes you understand why carnivorous abo are tempted to eat prey abo.
