It's kind of healing to read. Despite her condition (heavy handicap) she is being loved and treated with respect by her husband and mother in law. It feels fresh and as someone on the spectrum it reassures me deeply. I know she may not be on the spectrum but more like CPTSD + hard on survival mechanism + severe lack of education/neglect) but still, I relate more to her than any other super smart or dumb FL we usually read about
