Kind of creepy and disgusting.
Akane's behavior made me really uncomfortable. IDK, I'm kinda disappointed in how vapid the whole thing with Aoi seems to turn out to be.
I thought the chapter would go deeper into what's happening inside Aoi's head, but instead we get a girl basically throwing a temper tantrum over stuff "she made up in her head" (according to Akane?) just to get a "romantic" scene that feels totally not earned at all. Teru popping up was the best thing ever.
Like, it's one thing to be perseverant, but being perseverant in love doesn't mean being a creep who just can't take a "no".
And being a patronizing jerk while at it.

But aoi likes akane tho. Akane knows she likes him. But as explained in the latest chapter, she never feels worthy of being praised, and always feels like people dont like her real self, but her persona. That's why she hardly cries or gets upset because she wants to keep up with her persona. Being upset or crying is a way for her to express her real self, to be honest and to be vulnerable, to expose her vulnerable/ real self that she's hurt (especially when akane says he doesn't like her, akane is her weakness, she cannot keep her persona and shows him what she really feels). Akane deeply understood and loved her⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄ . He knows shes sad when he gives up on her or he hates her, so he always praises her. It's fine if u dont agree despite this tho no worries ^^

Though honestly, I'm super glad that Nozomu did show interest in trying it and that the reason they didn't get to switch was because Rin was just waaay too into being the bottom, unlike other mangas that brush it off with sexist, homophobic, or abusive BS when the uke asks to be the top or questions why he has to be the bottom all the time.
Anyway, pretty fluffy overall, loved it.
Loved that they didn't demonize the girl that confessed to Rin. It really hurt that their relationship couldn't ever work, they would have been actually cute... BUT THE MAIN COUPLE! aaahhh Nozomu and Rin are such a cute pair. So chill.

Wow, Killey and Nica's designs resemble Tsukasa and Sakura from the same author's later published Jibaku Shounen Hanako kun. They even have similar vibes, but of course these characters are whole different things in the end (the master-assistant dynamic is flipped, for a start). It's cute though that in JSHK Sakura said she'd rather think of Tsukasa as a cat. I wonder if that was a low-key reference to this manga.
I beg the universe, please let BL authors and fans move on to something else. This cursed subgenre is outright cancer. I don't even like to use that word to describe disliked things, but there is just no better way to put it.
I can count with the fingers of one hand the number of ABO titles that I consider good, and from those at least two of them are about betas (who don't become omegas or aphas).
Like holy crap, at least come up with an actual new plot. It's always the same 2 or 3 basic plots. Social commentary my ass, just say you like rape already. That's what most of these stories boil down to.
