To be clear, I am chill with vampires and demons and hot immortal witches. My only problem with this story is that she acts as his guardian who watches him grow up. That dynamic leading into a romantic relationship just feels wrong. If the sexes were reversed, I’m certain it would be waaaaay less accepted. And I remember seeing somewhere a defense that within these mangas and stuff people usually mentally mature quicker. That doesn’t matter to me. Point is: SHE IS BASICALLY HIS MOM.
