that’s why i said he still dumb but this time it’s a bit more justified ?? like jace honestly just interpreted it wrong especially since he was mainly going off of the dukes terrible past actions i agree he should’ve asked what the duke meant but i think the duke really should have confessed to jace while he is actually sober that he LOVES him. the duke never did that so i can see why he’d misinterpret the “romantic relationship” to a sexual one bc he doesn’t know the duke’s feelings like that wasn’t actually communicated when he was conscious.
