I was so invested in this story and I really liked the mix of psychological topics and comedy, but what the hell is up with the sudden end? I wanted Miss Kim's backstory, and I really wanted to see in which direction the kids are going to go. Wtf
I read this several months back, and I can say that this is SUCH a good manhwa in general - even outside of the isekai genre. It felt so... real? Like - all of the characters are super well-written, and so are their relationships and the way they interact with one another. It actually has a unique plot, lore, AND ending.
I'm so used to most of reincarnation manhwas being the typical "I got reincarnated as the Villainess, and now I have to avoid my death" and the plot is always them falling in love with some tall, dark, and handsome duke, while the "main character of the novel" is some blondie innocent-looking bitch that is manipulating everyone, or whatever.
The entire concept with the dragons and witches of the world is also so interesting. I legit CRIED reading this shit and specifically reading the ending. I really loved how she ACTUALLY fought to go back to her original world, and didn't simply settle down with some duke in a fantasy world. I remember the first time I finished reading this I deadass felt numb for 2 days LMAO.
Literally 20/10 read, don't remember reading anything as good as this in a WHILE.
Really LOVED this, but I haven't been able to find anything with the same feel. I'd really like some reccs! I don't mind whether its mlm, wlw or mlw, that's irrelevant, I just want something that has similar feel to this ╮(￣▽￣)╭ (and preferrably not smut, doesn't matter if it is smut though, as long as the story's good ig)
To address the elephant in the room first, student x teacher is NOT it. At all.
Second - Considering the fact that the FL is 25 AND a teacher, I find it painfully stupid that she's written like a highschooler. Several times I had to stop reading and wonder whether the author has ever attended a school. She does not only behave childishly, girl does NOT defend herself in front of literal CHILDREN considering that she's their superior.
Third - As cute as I find the ML at times, and as much as I like his character development, that boy has absolutely no right to behave towards his teacher that way.
Overall, if it wasn't student x teacher, and if the FL wasn't so idiotically written, maybe it would've been better.

Okay so, stay with me on this, but considering its title, I thought it was gonna blow me away. I LOVED the plot twist where the author got revealed, and the entire thing with the author controlling the story, an unique concept if you ask me.
However, when you DO look at the big picture, it really IS a common isekai/reincarnation story, let's be real. We have this flawless MC which reincarnated as the villainess (how shocking) and is now trying to go down the different path, not to mention that she never makes mistakes and somehow always chooses the right path; so she marries this hot desired black haired duke who at first seems icy cold and who loathes her, but soon enough he starts falling for her! Shocker! So she's put against this innocent looking big-eyed blondie who, as it turns out, manipulates everyone (another shocker). And so a billion hardships and false accusations later she gets her happily ever after with the duke. Once again, don't get me wrong, story was amazing, solid 4/5 stars for me, but at the end of the day, it IS like every other reincarnation manhwa just reformatted and a bit more original.
I'm aware that majority of isekai manhwas are bound to go down this cliché path, but I just wish to see more originality, esp. if you specifically name your work "I thought it was a common isekai story", or "Not your typical reincarnation story" as the WEBTOON's title says.
Don't get me wrong, their love story is cute and all of that, but you know, in the beginning it was all about "Why did I go back in time? Why does Edwin keep regressing?" and typically in this genre of manhwas, regression happens to the MC so she could prevent some sort of big tragedy, you know? I expected a oittle bit of mystery, plot twists, THINGS HAPPENING. Their regression was never explained, and the worldbuilding lacks A BUNCH. I thought that I was in for an interesing story, but no. Over the time the entire manhwa just revolved around their cliché relationship, that everything else was overlooked and left in the dark.
Overall, I cannot say "Oh it's a bad story.", but I can say that it didn't move me, not even once. Everything that happened was very bland and predictable. Compared to some other manhwas of this genre, this one is just boring.
So like... that's just it? Just like that? After everything?
I expected the ex-emperor to go down in a more... yk, tragic way? The sudden appereance of spirit kings and so many other things left unexplained.
Marquess Vlemir is also such a random love interest. IMO, she didn't even need one if it were going to be this random.
Didn't understand half of the things regarding big Leon. I was also hoping to see kiddos grow up. Like how in "Who made me a Princess" we can see Athanasia grow up as the time passes.
Last chapter was so random and rushed.
Honestly disappointed in the ending, as this has been one of my favorites for a while.
I'll try to make it short. It was a shoujo/josei manga, but I'm sure it fell under comedy genre as well. The FL (light hair) and ML (dark hair) got married, but it was a loveless one. FL fell for him first, and he fell for her later on. The ML grew up in an orphanage, and there's two side characters that are friends of his: One's a girl he grew up ......
so like who's son is dead??? and what happened to the kid FL saved??? is the "dead son" that child FL saved or what? and WHOSE SON IS HE? Elise and emperor's or Elise and that other magician's?? ALSO WHY WON'T VALETTA AND REINHART JUST KISSSSSS LORDDDD
